Can I bind an every tick function to just one command?

In this game you will command the character by voice command.
  • I am currently working on an exp system for my rpg and i seem to have an issue with my EXP updating every tick. Every time my character finishes a job its supposed to add 1 to the exp of said job. but when i talk to the npc that is supposed to show me how much i need to level up, it starts infinately adding +1 to my characters exp every tick. At the moment i have the every tick function bound to just my HUD event sheet. I have the "include HUD sheet" in the store sheet. Im not sure where i went wrong. if someone needs to look at the project i wouldnt mid showing them it but im particularly weary of passing out copies of my game.

  • I'd not update EXP every tick. I'd only update EXP when it actually needs to be updated aka when you gained some exp (via a function perhaps). It's hard to tell what's going on in your project, some screenshots of events in question would help already if you don't want to share your project.
