Android Build Service times out during “Preparing project”

Hello Construct Support,

I’m having a problem exporting Android APKs from Construct 3.

The build process stays on:

“Build Service: Preparing project”

for a long time, and then fails with:

“Error: timeout”

I have already tested the following:

My main project

A completely empty/new Construct project

Chrome

Chrome Incognito mode

A different internet connection using a mobile hotspot

The exact same timeout happens in all cases.

Because the issue also occurs with an empty project and on a different network, it does not appear to be related to my project size, plugins, browser cache, or internet connection.

Could you please check whether there is currently an issue with my account or with the Construct Android Build Service/build server?

I can also provide screenshots of the error if needed.

It seems like something is wrong with Cordova itself, because even a local build of the package hangs.

It seems to have been fixed, it's working both locally and on the Construct 3 servers. I wonder what it was?
