  • Hello everyone.

    Let me introduce myself, my name is Killian and I come from Switzerland. I play video games since my childhood and I hope to live my passion for video games one day. =)

    I use Construct 2 for several weeks now and I am happy to present my first game. Catacomb is an action tower defense inspired by the game Catacomb Snatch made by Notch during the Mojam 1.

    I am at the beginning of my project. There are still some bugs but the movement of the player and the core gameplay is there.

    The game should be available on PC / Mac / Linux. A Windows 8 version is also planned.

    The source file is available in the current version (Alpha 0.1). No other version will be published.

    At least it looks quite similar. Afaik it's from the first Mojam Humble Bundle. Don't know about the license though.

  • Thanks! I use the sprite of Catacomb Snatch but for the next versions, I'll make new sprites from scratch. =)

    Some little things I?m sure you know:

    • The left monster generator never breaks until the right generator not has been destroyed. Then, both generators are destroyed.
    • In the upper walls, the different stones are not really align and if you walk pressing diagonal up+right/left you get stuck on the borders. Some times between stones can see a line of separation (I use Chrome).

  • for some reason in the new one using IE player never rotates. sounds also seem glitch. always fires to the right. maybe an IE issue?

  • also, bats spawn above the spawners... playing on a surface RT with Windows RT on IE10
