Dark dungeon, To grid or not to grid?

Just looking for feedback on the visuals for my game.

As the title asks, To grid or not to gird?

A toggleable option is always nice.

I personally like the left one more but toggleable option is a solution too.

I comp AC Games! I would play with the grid but you never know if someone would want to play without a grid.

I'd vote for the grids. It seems more organized.

The same here, the best would be the toggleable solution, but if it is needed to choose only one, better with the grid.

With the grid imho. But maybe have the lines more subtil, means not stick out so much color wise.

Definetely a toggleable option would solve it for the best.

So what decision did you make on the grid?

I would go for a black grid, so that it blends with the background. Or better if you intend on having different background colours, I would make the tiles 1 or 2 pixels smaller all around, and leave that gap between them.

I see no reason to introduce yet another colour/shade to this cool minimalistic approach.

Will definately make it have adjustable opacity for the user.

Visual style doesn't matter when you ask this question.

You need to test it on players - I think it may be not comfortable to play whithout this grid, all depends of mechanics.
