[REQUEST] Plugin NeuroSky Mindwave Mobile, EEG Brainwaves

HI guys, would love some help figuring this one out.

I tried to use the Websocket to connect with ThinkGear Connector with the settings:

Host address 127.0.0.1

Port 13854

Protocol TCP

But with no luck. ThinkGear did respond but then an error after timeout.

Ok, so I had a look, still a little bit confused how I would make this work within Construct 2?

Do I need to make my own C2 Plugin? Then how do I access the two EEG variables - attention and meditation?

The easiest way is to write your own js and add 2 function like

function GetAttentionValue()

{

return XXX;

}

Thanks, just a few questions.. Which directory do I copy the Cylon.js file? Do I need to make a C2 Plugin? Or will it just work with the addtional .js file?

Add the js as an external file to project and use this plugin (and follow its istruction)

I have just discovered Neurosky and I was curious to see if someone has already worked on it on C2 and I am glad to see that you have done it. I am Italian too and I could understand perfectly the video in the linked page <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink">

I was wondering if after 2 years the device is improved or the software. Are you still doing something with that? How much you think is possible today to create a game controlled by that? Like let's say 8 direction behaviour and 1-2 action buttons?

The problem isn't the device and the software evolution, the problem is that man is not capable to control his own mind without complex "mind workout". Is like a muscle which we use but we do not control it with precision.

An "easy" controlled game (like less 1h of training) can be a one button game like NeuroSki.
