  • Is there a way to change the image of a sprite without effecting the size of the sprite in any of the layouts. For example I have a 250x250 sprite and I want to change the image to a 125x125 image, but I don't want the size to change in the layouts, so the sprites would still be 250x250 in the layouts(just scaled up from 125x125)

  • Try Construct 3

  • All I can think of is importing the smaller sprite and then size it on the layout larger (Or doing it with an event at startup.) You will loose graphics quality for that object though. you can scale the entire layer, but again, that is the entire layer.

  • If you are making the change after the fact (I.E. The game is done, and you are down sizing images for the whole game) - I got no ideas...

  • thanks, yeah its after the fact. A startup event might work though.

  • Yea, I guess you could import all the images the same % smaller, then in startup increase layout or layer size... or image sizes... Hmmm... Good Luck <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • i'm facing the same situation, have to update same sprite across 20+ layouts and keeping them in old size, any new solution to this? :/
