Enjoy the powerful simulation with accurate ball physics, build with realistic ball spinning animations
  • is their any way of doing this

when we fire a ball from cannon

before spawning a ball, cannon become fatty and then release ball and then become normal

    mostly used in cartoon programs

    hope it is understandable

  • Like you said..

Creating an animation for it would be the first thing that comes to mind..

  • yes off course this would be the first option

but if i have 6 frames of cannons then it became a huge problem for me

i know something about warp system that can do the similar thing

but in Construct 2 warp is different

    so i ask this question

may be here are some another way

  • Seems simple enough. Just play the expanding cannon ball animation and check for the last frame of the animation, then spawn a normal ball.

  • I don't know what the wrap system is..

You could create events to change the width and the height of your cannon-sprite, if that's the efffect you are after?

Should be relatively easy to do..

If you are looking to use effects for it you could search the effect part of this forum to see if any fit your need..

Also a plugin like litetween might get you some nice results, you can find it in the plugin section of the forum..

  • its Warp

    sorry my mistake

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads

means i have to create cannons in two parts

one stable and another for animation

  • i was doing decreasing width but it decreases cannon's tires too

  • or simply find a free good animation of canon shooting. (you can check my game in link below and see if that's what you're looking for (boss shoots from canons like that))

and that is made with animation. it's the simplest way.
