Yes there is progress. I am hoping to have CW11/12 up on staging very soon. On the Crosswalk 7 front, the Crosswalk team has updated the Chromium base to include the Open SSL fix. The only problem is that the Chromium team did not rev the Open SSL version identifier, so it will still report 1.0.1e instead of 1.0.1h - https://github.com/crosswalk-project/cr ... rosswalk-7

I hope to have news about all of them next week.

    OOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhh !

YESSSS that's EXACTLY what i need, PLEASE tell me when they fixed Crosswalk 7 and when it become available in Intel XDK to build with, it'll be AWESOME!

Thanks alot for your reply. I'm waiting for this.

  • I also need the Crosswalk 7 Open SSL Fix STRONGLY. Google Play texted me, stating that my current app (build with Crosswalk 7) might get removed because of this issue - this is terrible!!!!! The alternative is using Crosswalk 10, which has terrible performance...

  • that's the best news i've heard all week! I don't have the stones to re publish my 7 build to the playstore, and I know the 10 is costing me. Thanks Ian!

  • I will keep everyone updated. Keep in mind, Google *may* flag your app since it reports Open SSL 1.0.1e instead of 1.0.1h , but it does have the fix. I will have helper text for everyone to petition Google with.

  • imaffett: Yes, i'm waiting for obb extension

  • Nice

  • Do we have an estimate on CW11/12 yet? I have an app that is pending being sold but I really don't wan to release it with the current performance problems

According to test results on this thread using shells provided by imaffett , Crosswalk 11 and 12 both have the same performance issue as crosswalk 10 or even worse, while crosswalk 7 is the best one to build with for now (45 to 60 fps).

Hope they fix new versions of Crosswalk to be even better than 7.

ugh.... thanks for the update man. One day, this all will work out well, maybe in C3 lol. Not to hate on you intel guys or anything. I know you guys are trying your best and only have so much to work with, not like there's many/any better options for mobile exports

  • bscarl88

To be honest this issue related to Crosswalk team not Intel.

and again : C2 must export natively independent of any 3rd parties

it's just very comfortable to earn money on C2 and sending all angry people to some 3rd party companies

So, do you know when are they going to update the Open SSL 1.0.1e to 1.0.1h?

  • I'd also like to know the answer to the above question please. If it is as you say and they've fixed it but just need to revise the version identifier, surely can't take this long?

My game is ready but I need this fix before uploading...please?
