  • Awesome to see 11 and 12 finally being pushed out cant wait to test them further

Is production cw12 different from your cw testing shells? Because, when I test preview on my wifi using testing cw12 shell, 2 devices are in canvas 2d mode and 2 in webGL and when testing beta version, downloaded from the store, all 4 are in webGL. Is there the device blacklisting turned off? Also graphics quality looks bit different, it looks more blurry on the exported version.

  • Noga - It shouldn't be. Any chance you can link to your store version?

I just uploaded latest version to beta and need to test IAP. If it's all good, I'll post the link here, hopefully tomorrow.

The last Crosswalk 12 beta that I used was 12.41.296.4

Now Crosswalk 12 is stable with version 12.41.296.9

    Where is the changelog?

I can't find it anywhere. Well, it's just curiosity :/

Here's the blurriness, it's subtle but noticable.

  • any news about crosswalk 7 OpenSSL issue after the new update ?

I'm building with CW 12, and then the Build Log says that XDK is using 12.41.296.4

When is Intel going to update to CW 12.41.296.9?

We generally do not update every incremental release Crosswalk has, unless there is a major issue.

What news? It's up to Google to rev the Open SSL version to remove the false positive. I encourage C2 users to create an issue and star it.

Hi - You should direct any questions to the Crosswalk team. You can raise an issue on github or send a tweet to them.

It's up to intel xdk, it's up to crosswalk, it's up to Google, it's up to anyone except me!

what i supposed to do ?! how do i create an issue and star it?

That's what I'm talking about and no one want to listen, depending on 3rd parties makes C2 a useless software.

Everybody says: it's up to someone else.

if anybody reported this issue to Google please share the link to star it.

    thanks

Hmm, so what's the point that the Crosswalk team has made an update for CW 12 if you are not going to push it to production in the Intel XDK?

    I'm sorry for saying this:

There is so bad to wait for:

    1: Chromium updates

    2: Crosswalk updates

    3. Intel updates their buildings with the last Crosswalk updates

I understand that there is nothing you can do for points 1 and 2, but you can change the point 3

There has to be a major issue in order to update it?

Okay, would the following text still be applicable? If so, I will file it as a security bug in the chromium issue tracker, and start a thread to let C2 users star-bomb it <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz">

[quote:1i19y7op]This application uses the Crosswalk 7 WebView which is based off of Chromium 36.0.1985.144. This version of Chromium includes the Open SSL fixes found at https://chromium.googlesource.com/chrom ... 25d0b079c3

    c5547f07948684f80c4e9c3584

The Chromium team did not rev the Open SSL identifier, so it still reports 1.0.1e as the Open SSL version. You can verify this in the commit log at https://chromium.googlesource.com/chrom ... sl.version

You can find the Crosswalk commit that updates to Chromium 36.0.1985.144 at https://github.com/crosswalk-project/cr ... a3d9e68e05

    Thank you

Considering how tardy google has been in the past though, I'm wondering: wouldn't it be possible to patch the version number at some stage on intel's end? Or is it lost in the morass of the chromium code base?

Really frustrating how much trouble we are going thru because someone can't tweak a string value along the way. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt="" title="Mr. Green">
