Failed to open project

I get this error message when I try to open up my project.

I decided I don't need this event sheet or layout so I deleted it, zipped it back up and changed it back to a capx file. Now cs2 just stops responding when trying to open it up.

You cannot just delete project files! This will corrupt your project. You must delete things from within Construct 2's editor only.

I tried to recover your project but it proved too time consuming; there seem to be a very large number of variables that now have missing references. Presumably they all were defined in the event sheet that you deleted and now Construct 2 can't find the references to them. Do you have a backup you can restore from?

I am running into a similar problem. I didn't delete anything from the project. I just turn off my computer.

I am also having a similar issue. I don't believe that I deleted anything. I just restarted the computer and then it no longer worked. My backup file has the same issue.

Edit: Damn it was terrifying. I fixed it with the first comment:

Im having the same issue, this is a scary bug, i havent altered any files, never do.

Event block has two triggered conditions

Under element: c2eventsheet \ events \ event-group \ sub-events \ event-block ...

This happened to me as well. It most likely has something to do with me cleaning up files on my computer with a program.

Luckily I had backups....

Good reason to have it auto back up more than a few times.

I just ran into this, YIKES!

TERRIFIED TO LOSE ALL THE WORK I DID IN THE LAST MONTH.

I think it was because I used a file cleaner as well, didn't know it would effect temp files that C2 uses!
