Please file a bug following all the guidelines to make sure we investigate any issues.
There should really be a specific place to file crashes. It is hard to file a bug report for a crash because you cannot fill out most of the fields. You should create a crash report option as well with less fields. Only the important ones like why did it crash, what were you doing when it crashed, what the error message says when it crashes, etc. Use only the ones that can easily be filled out by anyone.
And you also said that it doesn't tell you much about the crash. I would like to be able to report crashes and some information with them that helps you fix them. However it was just a suggestion.
There already is information you can provide that helps us fix them - it's what the bug report guidelines request. Other information tends not to be helpful towards fixing the bug, so it's not requested.
You already created a forum thread about this, and I already responded to that, highlighting that crashes are already automatically reported.
