I don't remember was build of C2 I was around for when I first discovered Scirra, but now we're into 200+ releases for C3. This is just awesome!!
I must have missed something huge because I have no idea what a "scene graph" is supposed to be.
I know you'll add info to the documentation when all is in place or you have a new stable release, but could you summarize what such a feature is, please?
I hope you all feel rested. Thank you for all your hard work. You could have taken TWO weeks holiday and I would have been okay with that. You deserve it.
The Num Pad issue was beginning to numb brain. Thank you!
I have a Help request in the forums that — started helping me with, but yes, I'll get on that, too. Thank you, Diego.
Okay...I take it back. Something still not right...
I KNEW I wasn't plugging in events and actions wrong with the Tween behavior! All I did was update the position and size values. NOW I know why it wasn't working! Thank you so much! I was so worried I broke my game by doing nothing. LOL
It's Christmas in June!!
I'm not a teacher, but I do love teaching when the opportunity presents itself. So the new "share with admin" feature is SUPER awesome Just the kind of thoughtfulness I love from you all.
I'm proud that I get to be here to see C3 v. 200. I've been around since the somewhat early days of C2. I've been here since the release of C3. And while there's still so much I don't understand, I'm grateful I get to be part of it. I'm very grateful for EVERYONE from the Scirra Bros (you thought I had given up on that one, didn't ya?! LOL).
I have no doubt that's the case, as I've tried to keep up on Ashley's posts when new runtime stuff is mentioned.......little of it that I understand. LOL
The difficulty is isolating the issue because I have been working on individual objects and then threw them ALL into the mix at once. So there's already so much to try to isolate. I don't know that I'd know where to begin.
Although I'm using C3 now, this gives me a lot of good info to review in my current project.
I'm using TONS of instances of four different objects (and they're all gathered into a single Family). Each one has its own set of behaviors, too.
Thank you for this post!
I didn't know it was possible to get so excited about little ol' Pin Behavior, but here I am dancing in my chair.
Bad pun alert: You pinned the nail on the head with this one!!
If the double-fire of mouse clicks in worker mode is what's been causing the animation editor to open unexpectedly after SINGLE-clicking (or holding a click and much, much later releasing the button) over an object OR opening an event/action line edit box when doing something like moving an event/action to a new line...then THANK YOU!!! That has been annoying me for MONTHS!
