Nice work! If you wanted to extend on that for different directions, you can use AngleAt

e.g.

On Touch(0) End

    --> -45<touch.AngleAt(0)<45 => Set Text 'Right'

    --> 45<touch.AngleAt(0)<135 => Set Text 'Down'

etc....

Velojet There is one set of JRPG type characters, with walking animation in 4 directions. I haven't seen anything else in there yet for characters.

I've gone through most of the assets, and the best parts are definitely the space craft, sky backgrounds, and space backgrounds. Personally, just for those assets, the whole thing is worth the price for me. There's a bit of other stuff in there which varies in quality, but I guess it depends on what you're after.

Their website covers the majority of the content you get.

It started off strong, coincidentally when I screwed up the trial mode, so it appeared free. I had about 700-800 downloads a day for a couple of days.

However, ironically when I fixed trial mode, downloads completely tanked, and now I have about 40-50 :(

I'll have to fix this by making it free again with IGPs instead.

I have no idea comparatively I'm doing though, I've got about 3k downloads in total after a week and a bit.

bjadams, Here are the steps:

1. Go to Store-> Create App Packages

(Or for VS12 Pro Project->Store->Create App Packages)

2. Select "No" for building to the Win Store on the next window

3. Pick file location

4. Now if you want to install this app package, you'll have to find the file: "Add-AppDevPackage"

5. Right click on it and select Run with Powershell

6. Go through the prompts to install it which are self explanatory

moenchlax - how did you go with clay.io in your Win 8 app? If it works I'd be pretty keen to add that into my current game:
