    yea it actually made the zip file but for some reason i couldn't open it on c3 - but i dont mind about that

    I'm very new to JS so can u tell me what is wrong with this simple piece of code to trigger a button being clicked.

    Here is what I am trying to convert into JS:

    + ButtonPlay: On clicked

    -> System: Go to Layout 1

    And I tried this code:

    runOnStartup(runtime => {

    runtime.objects.ButtonPlay.addEventListener("click", e => {

    runtime.goToLayout("Layout 1");

    });

    });

    -----------

    But wouldnt work.

    Can anyone help.

  • Yeah,

    I always have the problem where I have good ideas to start but then I find the game to have too many problems,bugs and I find I can't even finish the game ( restriction of events 😔 ).

    This year was wasted because I used C2 believing it was free - 😥 - but when I had finished I found I had wasted months on that stupid project.

  • do you mind showing us another video of when the character plays different frames that aren't meant to happen?

    that way we should be able to diagnose this issue better

  • Isn't that a good enough way you want the character to jump?

    I mean the character wasn't jumping weirdly, unless you expect it to appear differently?
