Live2D SDK doesn't contains poly vs poly collision detection. So it is more suitable for touch collision or non-collision games. Below is a Korea game demo which uses Live2D heavily:

  • Why not just use the fade, or sin behavior?

  • Dt is a small number, in fact the main point of it is that it can be zero.

    Anything times zero=?

  • What ever method you are most comfortable with, so it's up to you.

I would make sure to use dt however.

  • Lots of events that would normally not eat up cpu, do add up. Many things do not need to be checked every tick.

Additionally the condition "every tick" could probably be used just once with all the actions together for ease of debugging. Just be aware that order still matters.

  • No, but you can save the game's state and store that then restore it, and take your picture.

Otherwise you would have to convert the image to something like base64, and store it as a string in local storage, or store it on a server.

It's doable, but ill advised because of the waste of memory on both of those.
