  • Given that you don't have a pc, and probably don't have a C2 license which you need if you plan on making any profit from a game made or edited with the editor, I would contact the author, and see if they can do it for you.

True. Parse would be an example, and Google is famous for dropping services.

  • Looks like the delivery network is a bit slow today.

Perhaps it's because of the sale.

I just wonder when we'll see fallout from all the people migrating to theses other services.

For services with a paid plan it's not a big issue, but itch, and git... who knows.

I will say the pricing on Firebase is a bit dubious. The first tier is 25 a month, which is high imo, compared to Dropbox at 9, but the Blaze version seems doable with the pay as you go plan.

It doesn't make much sense to do it like that, but ehh.

  • It would not be more cpu intensive.

It would use more memory than just using instances.

Keep in mind all instances share the same texture.

  • OK, I guess look up Steam games made with C2 on Steam Spy, and you will get some data.

It's not going to be a lot. The Pc market is lackluster, indie games are under priced, and so called AAA games are overpriced beyond compare.

If you want metrics, go get the amount of likes, and the number of followers from social media.

It is as they say "going to be a bumpy ride"

  • Just tell them is like FNAF. They will handle the rest.

Just be prepared for overreactions of button pushes, layout changes, menu popups, etc.

What I'm saying is pick a tuber that you like, and that you think will like your game.

  • I'm pretty sure there are several in that list that would qualify in your ideal of successful.

To what extent I'm unsure. Asking a developer how much he made is liable to get no response.

I think the real answer to your question is that if income is your first priority, then perhaps game dev is not for you.

It can take years to learn to code, and more years to hit upon a successful combination of game mechanics, graphics, sound, fx, music, marketing....

  • Yeah. It's good for getting input.

Speaking of sdk's. I keep hoping they will make the web ads available.

  • You could restrict xy's with clamp(value, min, max), however that is not with clipping.

  • For clipping you would use a blend mode with a mask on a separate layer set to force own texture.
