Cosine interpolation cosp(a, b, x) maybe
Theres also:
qarp(a, b, c, x)
cubic(a, b, c, d, x)
They are aggressively more complicated however.
Rex has several behaviors that are simpler to implement, moveto, spline, etc.
Im going on the main reasoning for C3's inception was to provide editor features that C2 couldn't handle.
I can only assume that using html5/ javascript gave a way to handle those features, while allowing for multi platform support in a way that he could not find in C++.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
"Power of two images" really isn't an issue anymore as most modern gpus can handle most dimensions.
That doesn't mean you can just shovel in assets as you please though.

You should test things for yourself, but I think that unless you have hundreds of instances, checking things like animations will add very little to optimization.
Well from the first look screen shots it looked like there were no lines connecting events, and sub events as we have in C2.
That's a useful feature especially when dealing with else, and moving events around.
variable canmove=1 object set position to lerp(newpositions)
On timer set variable canmove to 0
Those aren't abnormal sizes.
Perhaps it's the device that's the issue.
If something moves at x pixels per second then you can figure out how long it will take to get there if you know the distance there.
Add a timer behavior to change a boolean variable.
They are experiencing negative feedback for the subscription model, as expected.
It comes down to running around trying to put out fires until the beta is out, or just letting them burn out on their own.
Obviously that wouldn't work if the release date was a lot sooner.
Oh so it will work on ipad? I thought it wouldn't work with construct 3 on apple devices due to Safari only browsers. (Needing Chrome, the Chrome in App Store is fake chrome actually, it is Safari with Chrome cover)
Some things like multiplayer still wont work on Safari, but may eventually.
That's why they announced Chrome first.
Invisible means its is not rendered.
They should have little performance impact as long as they are invisible, and not moving.
You might get a drop when they are made visible however.
Btw 0 opacity means nothing to cpu performance. It's the same as 100 opacity.
If they release an Ios version, I probably won't be able to install it since Apple stopped supporting my Ipad.
Then again, I'll be able to use the browser version, and even add it to the home screen.
