It's most likely a graphics driver issue - I'd report this to nVidia, it sounds very much like other driver issues we've had in the past.
Closing, please be more specific about what the precise problem is. It's normal for some files to always go in root, and it's possible to change the exporter settings so everything else exports to root rather than a media subfolder.
Why do you need to load 200 images at runtime? That doesn't sound like a smart use of image resources. Importing images to Construct 2 ensures they are managed efficiently while exporting and at runtime.
I've seen this happen, but it looks like a Chrome bug. Simply closing and reopening the window usually fixes it. I haven't been able to reproduce it in any other browser, so I think this can be closed as a Chrome issue.
Have you seen troubleshooting Construct 2's preview server?
Sometimes just hitting refresh a few times will bring up the preview too.

Closing as a problem with the events.
The message is harmless, but I guess it shouldn't appear - fixed for next build.
Did you try updating your graphics card driver on Windows 8 too? I'm sure if this was C2's fault we'd be hearing about it from far more people than just the two reports in this thread, so I'm fairly sure it's a graphics driver issue or some other system problem.
Closing as not a bug: the Button's 'Auto font size' is set to 'Yes'.
I still can't reproduce any issue on Windows 8 either from the original .capx or from the steps from a new project. Seems to work fine even when clicking like mad in the properties bar. Not sure what to do about this since I can't repro...
The project is corrupt, but we cannot fix the cause of the corruption without the exact steps to reproduce the problem. Can you provide this?
Closing since software can't break your monitor!
