Don't miss out on the latest and greatest new features in Construct 3.
The main feature this build is the new back button support, which is particularly important on mobile. Now pressing the "Back" button will cancel any open modal dialog, or prompt if you really want to go back if a project is currently open. This should largely prevent any cases of accidentally leaving the editor on mobile due to hitting "Back", and make the editor more natural to use since you can hit back to leave dialogs.
By popular demand we've also made a cosmetic tweak to make the active tab more obvious, by making inactive tabs darker. Our designer Paulo is working on a whole new theme for the editor, which also uses a dark style, and will change many aspects of Construct 3's appearance, but this tweak should help in the short term. Another small UI change is you can now open the Remote Preview dialog to its own popup window, so it doesn't get in the way so much if you leave it running.
As ever there's a big batch of bug fixes. One notable one was a crash introduced in r36 when clicking "Cancel" on the Export dialog; that should be working normally again now.

Let us know with a thumbs up!
The Back button now closes modal dialogs and prompts to leave if a project is open. This is especially useful on mobile.
The Remote Preview dialog, and the remote video viewer dialog, can now be opened to their own popup window
Layers Bar: now displays layer indices on the right, like in Construct 2
Layout View: objects can now be resized and rotated by touchscreens on desktop systems
"Space bar + Mouse" shortcut to scroll the image in the Tilemap Bar
Status message now appears during autosaves
Inactive tabs are now darker to better emphasise the active tab
Slight improvements to the image editor's color picker
Safety checks on saving will now allow saving a project locally while it's also uploading a save to a cloud service
Can no longer change event or instance variable type after events are added using them (since changing the type would make the events invalid)
Instance variables can now default their initial values to a previously deleted instance's values
Zip files created on macOS can now always be opened via drag-and-drop to the editor
Possible spurious 'Failed to load project' error after opening project
Cloning a SpriteFont now always sets origin correctly
After closing a Remote Preview, a normal preview still started Remote Preview again
Changing Array/Dictionary instance variables did not enable save
Crash when setting the tile offset properties of a tilemap instance
Crash when exporting to a platform not available to the free edition
Properly adjust image points when an image is resized or cropped
Scrolling in the Tilemap Bar was not working in OSX
Submenus not working properly in mobile
Able to open the same project twice from the same cloud service
Blank error messages appearing when save fails
