It's looking good for a stable release next week, but there were two more bug fixes we wanted to make for that release.

Out of an abundance of caution we are releasing another minor beta release to ensure that this works as expected. This should help make sure that the stable release is reliable, as ideally we will make no further changes at all between this release and the stable release.

  • Congratulations Scirra team. I am very happy that I see you working on Instant Games even when it come to bug fixes. It is very important for some of us that use Construct only for this.

  • Hi, I received an email from Google today.

    "Hello Google Play Developer,

    This is a reminder that starting November 1, 2019, updates to apps and games on Google Play will be required to target Android 9 (API level 28) or higher. After this date, the Play Console will prevent you from submitting new APKs with a targetSdkVersion less than 28."

    And now I can't export the project.

    • Strelya72 Release notes is not the place to file bug reports, please use our issue tracker github.com/Scirra/Construct-3-bugs/issues.

      We already target SDK 28, and have done for quite awhile. You can see the target in your log message, which unfortunately does not include any actual errors. If your project is not exporting for some reason then please file a bug for us including the affected project and your export settings.
