Scenarios Where This Addon Excels
- Bullet and projectile trails. Any fast-moving object gets a ribbon showing its recent path. Bezier smoothing keeps the curves clean even at high velocities.
- Sword and weapon streaks. Attach to a weapon Sprite and point to an image point at the blade tip. The trail follows the tip through swing animations with no per-frame event-sheet code.
- Dash and speed-boost effects. Set Width Start equal to the character width and Width End to zero for the classic motion-blur silhouette. Activate on dash start, reset on dash end.
- Magical particle ribbons. A low-opacity Sprite with additive blend and a white-to-transparent gradient becomes a soft glow trail for wands, fireflies, or ambient particles.
- low-motion and timescale effects. The trail runs on Construct's tick system and automatically responds to per-object and global timescale changes, stretching the visible trail naturally during bullet-time.
- Procedural path visualization. Push trail points manually from any position in the event sheet to draw arbitrary paths, not just the object's live movement.
