You must destroy every alien in the formation to advance to the next wave. You will lose one life if struck by any alien bullets. If you allow one alien to touch the ground, the game will be over regardless of lives. The aliens move across the screen in one direction. When one alien reaches the edge of the screen, they will drop closer to the surface and move in the opposite direction.

The more aliens you destroy, the faster the remaining formation will move. You have four shields spread out over the surface that absorb shots, but erode over time. A saucer will occasionally fly over the formation, which can be shot for bonus points.

Scoring

Large Invader: 10 points

Medium Invader: 20 points

Small Invader: 30 points

Saucer: 50 ~ 300 points

Instructions

Move the cannon left or right with the arrow keys.

Fire a missile by pressing the spacebar.

R key to restart.

A key to toggle Automatic Shooting ON or OFF.

  • In this version, 1.1.5 the invaders do not go past the left or right side of the screen. Increasing the speed made this happen. Especially with the last invader. The *.c3p for download has also been updated. In the final version I will add a top 5 high score leaderboard.

  • A few adjustments in v1.1.1

    On every new level all invaders move one row down. Maximum row to start is just above the shields.

    All invaders should always start moving to the right on every level.

    Sometimes a mystery UFO would be created when you just finished a level. The mystery UFO would continue on the next level. Fixed this by stopping the timer.
