Show-casing work from our first year students on the UCLan games design course.

This selection is from Holly Bradshaw who just completed her first year of study on our games design course.

She loves animals and her pet rats have become the stars of her Top Down Shooter game.

Instructions

Use left mouse button to shoot and arrows to navigate. Avoid or shoot the big rat as he will kill you. Try to stop the others from eating your food by blocking or shooting them.

  • Those assets are super cute! I love it! The gameplay is simple but fits with the concept quite well, and it's fun. Even though this is a test game, adding UI to represent the player's health bar would be useful to know at least. I look forward to the finished version if you still intend to work on it! :)

    • Thank you! I'll potentially work on it further down the line, I'd like to add some kind of health gauge but need to learn how to implement it. :)
