  • The game is fine, I tested it myself. What speed internet do you have?

My internet speed is about 10.5 mbps for download speed and 1 mbps for upload speed. I'm not sure if that's what you meant, but those are the only internet speed numbers I could find when I tested it. Overall, when I'm using my computer, the internet is usually fairly fast, but a lot of times it goes really slow.

  • Thanks, got your email. I think it might work now if you try again, I've adjusted a few settings.

I tried it again, but I still got the same error. I'm wondering if it might be something with the game itself that isn't working, so I've got an idea to test it. I have a different game that I'm going to update with a new version. If that one doesn't work either, then we'll know it's not the game. Unless of course I made the same error on that game as well. Well, I'll just try it. I'll let you know if that one doesn't work either, or if I got either of them to work. Thanks!

    Thanks! I'll try it now.

  • I haven't received an email, can you try emailing supportdrn@construct.net? Maybe with a link to download it if it's a big file.

Hi, so I figured out why the email didn't send. I had accidentally screwed something up, but I fixed it now. I have to send just a link so that you can download the file, not the file itself. So do you want me to send it to the supportdrn@construct.net or to tomdrn@construct.net?

  • I haven't received an email, can you try emailing supportrjk@construct.net? Maybe with a link to download it if it's a big file.

    Ok, sure, I'll try that.

  • Any chance you can email me the zip you're trying to upload to tomuqy@construct.net with your username?

I sent it, but I'm not sure if it went through, because when I checked the 'sent' area, it wasn't there.

Ok, I sent the email. Thanks!

  • Hi, so I've been trying to upload my newest game for a few hours now, but it doesn't work. I already got the main cover image and screenshots and things like that done, but every time I try to upload the game files, it just loads for a really long time, then shows this screen:

I've already tried probably over ten times, but it never works. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix it, that would be great. Thanks!

  • Hi, so this is kind of random, but I'll just see if anything happens. So, I sometimes watch these videos on YouTube about scary things in Minecraft and such, but the other day, I saw a video that the guy who makes the videos put out. Apparently, his channels are going to be de-monetized because a YouTube AI thing decided that his videos were fake and that he wasn't a real person. So basically, he can't earn money from his videos now, so he might not be able to make them anymore. In the video that he said all this, he also asked if people would go onto X and tag the YouTube team so that they would have an actual person review the videos and see that they aren't fake. I don't use X myself and wouldn't know how to do it, so I was just going to put this out there in case someone on here who DOES use X would like to help this guy out.

You just need to go onto X, then tag the YouTube team like how he shows in the video below. Then you would just ask them in your own words to manually review his channel.

I suppose you need to know what channel it is too and any other information I missed. So, here's the video link so you can watch it yourself: youtube.com/watch

The channel name is Raygloom Creepypasta if you don't want to watch the video. And also, do NOT spam the YouTube team when you tag them and be respectful otherwise that might make things worse.

I know this is kind of random, but I really enjoy watching those videos and it would be nice to help this guy out. Thanks!

  • Awesome game! The graphics are awesome and it's super fun to play! Great job!

  • Hi, so a few months ago I published my game Rude Dude, and I was just wondering if anyone would like to play it. So first off, here's the link: construct.net/en/free-online-games/rude-dude-game-82954/play Just to give you some idea of what the game is about, I'll write a quick summary. Rude Dude is an action/platformer game about an ordinary guy who is sick of being overly polite. Throughout the game you travel through interesting indoor/outdoor environments, following the intriguing storyline. Your goal is to punch, drop houses on, and do a variety of other things to the bad people. Well, they're not particularly 'bad', but you'll see. The game offers a unique way of punching and intense sound effects and music. But be careful. Something strange is happening, right out of view. WARNING: This game is rated T for some violence and sound effects. But anyway, I hope you enjoy the game and leave a comment or like the game (or both) if you want. Thanks for playing!

  • Hi, so I'm not entirely sure this is it, but I noticed that on you 'On start of layout' condition, you have a 'set timescale to 0' action. When you set the time scale to zero, that means the entire game is basically paused. That might be what it wrong, but I'm not sure. Just an idea.

  • > You may not like it, but AI is here to stay. Those who don't use it will be left behind.

I completely agree. I understand why everyone hate it, but protesting AI is like denying climate change - pointless. It's already here, deal with it and adapt.

First of all, I can guarantee that those who don't use AI will be left behind. For example, look at Halo on the xbox. I bet they didn't use AI (sure they had it in the game as a character, but that doesn't count), and it still became one of the greatest games ever. I don't think that they should use AI in Construct 3, even if it is just for helping with things like were described in the first post. AI would just complicate things even more. Plus, I've played enough Portal 2 too know that you shouldn't mess around with robots too much. Also, your little thing about protesting AI being like denying climate change was kind of dumb, considering I know for a fact that climate change isn't real. (I've lived in the same area my entire life and the climate has NEVER changed. It's always cold.) But, like you said, I guess I should just deal with AI being here. Deal with it by protesting that it shouldn't be used here. And on a final note, I'm sure the people who are running Construct 3 have enough to worry about. Making them add AI into it would be too much. Anyway, that's my opinion, if you don't agree, that's fine.

  • Hi, so this is kind of odd, but I figured it would be fun to do. So, other than making games, I like to write as well. So, I figured it would be cool if I had some random person tell me what they want the story to be about, then I write it. So the first person to reply to this and say what they want the story about, I'll write it. Note, the story has to be a scary story, because I'm not too great at writing anything else. Also, it don't ask for anything too violent, dark, or anything inappropriate at all.

So just tell me these things. The setting it is at, the type of monster, the point of view (First person or third person), the name of the person-optional-, and what you generally want it about. I'll get to work on it as soon as I can. Thanks!

  • Hey, there's my game in the top right corner of that picture! Cool!
