  • Hi, so, I recently, well, sort of recently, released my two newest games on Newgrounds. I would have released them on this site, because I made them with this site and I release ALL my games on this site, but for some reason it doesn't work anymore and I just get an error screen when trying to upload a game. Anyways, one game is an action/puzzle/platformer game called Laboratory. It features 40 levels, with a story and cutscenes. Just note that it is rated T because it has violence. Also, it doesn't really work on mobile right now, so I would recommend using a computer. Here's its link:

    The other game is an action/fighting game called Fast Food Fighting Fury (FFFF). It features only two fairly short levels, a story, and cutscenes. The reason it's so short is because I made it for a game jam that I was late for, so I only had about three days to make it. This one is rated E because it isn't really that violent. It does not work on mobile. Also note that the game might offend vegetarians. Here's the link:

    Aaaand, that's about all I got. Yeah, the two downfall games are kind of rough and don't work too well. That's because those were the two first games I made, and I was just getting the hang of it. Maybe I'll make a new version eventually. And the other games aren't great, but I'm stilling trying to improve my drawing and stuff. Also, I'm currently working on an updated version of portrait of a chicken that has alternate endings and stuff, so that should be out eventually. Although I might need to put it on newgrounds instead of the arcade here, if that error keeps happening. Well, let me know if you have any problems, and leave a comment or like the games if you want.   • My first guess would be that its the internet connection and not the computer.

    I don't really know much, I was hoping my first idea would work and i would look like a hero.

    Have you played any online games recently and were you getting kick because of connection problems?

    If not maybe you can put the file on a phone and try uploading it on that? or another laptop if you have access.

    Heh, yeah, I was hoping that that idea would work too. I have played a lot of online games, and I haven't gotten kicked out of any of them. In fact, they ususally work really well on this computer. I guess I could try using a phone or laptop. Hopefully that will work. Thanks!

    Last time i had a problem, i found out there was an app and using that helped.

    Every now and again exporting to android stops working on the app so i use the web version for while.

    Well, I tried using the app and tried a bunch of other things, but I still can't get it to work. Do you think it could be something with my computer? I just got this computer last year, although I have uploaded a few games since I got it. Maybe there was a computer update or something that made construct stop working right?

  • If you haven't changed anything its probably something needs updating, the browser or OS are a good place to start.

    Hi, thanks for the reply! So, I checked my browser and OS but neither of them need updating. I tried a different browser (Google Chrome, I use Edge most of the time) but it still didn't work. Do you think it could be a problem with my profile maybe?

  • Hi, so I made a topic about this a few months ago about how I couldn't upload my game, but I wasn't able to fix anything because I STILL can't upload ANY games. I currently have two games ready to be published right now, but it won't let me upload either of them. I thought waiting a while might fix the problem, but I guess not. I made a video here of what goes wrong, if that would help. (The video might not be in very good quality, I don't know why.) Also, I'm not sure if it's a problem with my computer or not, because I've uploaded games before on this computer, this same year, and they worked just fine. I haven't changed anything since then, and my internet speed is still the same as it used to be. (Internet speed is pretty good.) Well, anyways, if someone could help that would be great.     Hi, so, I decided to wait a while to see if uploading the game would work later, but it still does the same thing. I finished a new game and tried to upload that, but it did the same exact thing with the error screen. Do you think that maybe it has something to do with my account? Like maybe something got screwed up on the account that's causing it to not work? Thanks!

  • The game is fine, I tested it myself. What speed internet do you have?

    My internet speed is about 10.5 mbps for download speed and 1 mbps for upload speed. I'm not sure if that's what you meant, but those are the only internet speed numbers I could find when I tested it. Overall, when I'm using my computer, the internet is usually fairly fast, but a lot of times it goes really slow.

    I tried it again, but I still got the same error. I'm wondering if it might be something with the game itself that isn't working, so I've got an idea to test it. I have a different game that I'm going to update with a new version. If that one doesn't work either, then we'll know it's not the game. Unless of course I made the same error on that game as well. Well, I'll just try it. I'll let you know if that one doesn't work either, or if I got either of them to work. Thanks!

  • Hi, so I've been trying to upload my newest game for a few hours now, but it doesn't work. I already got the main cover image and screenshots and things like that done, but every time I try to upload the game files, it just loads for a really long time, then shows this screen:

    I've already tried probably over ten times, but it never works. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix it, that would be great. Thanks!
