  • Hello everyone!

Here's my personal update with this issue, maybe it can help:

    - This is not just an achievements thing. The entire Steamworks plugin fails to work (the "is available" condition returns as false) when running a linux build on steamdeck. I'm unsure about other linux machines.

    - My linux file permissions are intact. I have checked them not only before, but also after uploading to Steam using my steamdeck's console.

    - I'm uploading my builds using my macbook pro and Steamcmd. I've also used the web uploads, they do not seem to work either.

    - Of course, the Windows and mac versions work perfectly fine. No issues there.

    - I have tried using the Steamdeck DevKit. It does not work for me. Note: I used a simulated windows on my macbook. Maybe it has an impact.

I hope we can find an answer!

  • I also really need help with that, did anybody make the steam achievements work on Steamdeck at all? I know there's file permissions stuff to be careful with, but I'm pretty sure I've done everything I could on that front...

  • Hello everybody!

I have been trying to setup Steam Cloud with Construct’s Local Storage plugin for the last week… It’s been pretty tough!
I was wondering, is it even possible? Has anybody here ever done it?

Honestly, I’m not even sure if it’s even possible to access the Local Storage via the system’s files in the first place…

I have located files that seem to store some data (IndexedDB/LevelDB in appdata and co), but they just seem to store a part of the Local Storage’s data, not all of it. Am I mistaken?

I’ll take any help I can get, thanks in advance!

  • Hi guys ! I'm facing an issue when launching my game on Steam desktop and Steam Deck.

Some other people also have the same problem, but it doesn't seem like anybody found a clear solution, at least none I could find...

When I open my game on steam deck, my gamepad controls do not work right at the start. I need to:

    - Go to input settings,

    - Activate Keyboard controls

    - Use the keyboard a bit

    - Then switch back to gamepad.

Only then will my game work properly...

When I play on my computer, it's a bit more random. It seems like some controllers get instantly recognized, and some others need to be plugged in & out first.

Maybe this is an Xinput thing ? Or Steam Input ? I've tried a lot of things, and nothing seems to be working on my end...

Also, I've been using NW.js, if you think that may be part of the issue.

Apologies if it was answered somewhere else. Thank you all in advance!
