    What you did wrong is selecting the wrong option on the event sheet.

    Don't select "Compare instance variable" because this only codes for a number or a string

    You should select "Is boolean instance variable set" for this codes for a boolean only.

    Here's a screenshot to show you which option you should select:

    I'm not too sure whether this is a silly question, but does anyone buy games?

    When I say buying games I mean that they buy it off you and then they only have full rights over the whole game so you cannot publish it at all.

    Does anyone do this?

    Or do people pay you to make a game that they will design?

    Or do people even buy games that you make for their company?

    The only thing is, it was saying something about getting paid for your game, and I don't know if I could do that. Can you just put your game on there for free?

    Okay, someone told me that it could be because of your computer's hardware. They said that my game worked for them on some computers, but on others, it just got the black screen and noise like you said. If you have another computer, maybe it would work, but if not, I'm not sure what you could do. I could make a gameplay video and put it on the arcade so you could see the game, but I don't know if that would be a little strange, considering it's just a random game. If you want, I can do that but if not, that's fine. Tell me what you think!
