  • I've made my first game in Construct 3 titled "Chibi-Tomatie!"

  • HIII!!! I'm Joshua, and I'm a solo indie game dev currently working on an indie 2D platformer in Construct 3. I first heard about Construct as soon as I got my laptop for my 14th birthday, and I was trying to learn about game development ever since.

I have 10 released games on my itch.io, and I've particularly been inspired by both Tokinsom and Richard Lems to make games in Construct. So shout out to them.

I'm currently working on an indie 2D platformer titled Super Clover World in Construct 3, that I've been conceptualizing back in July 2024, and currently in the early stages of the game. It stars a cute lil' bluebird named Clover, who can run, jump, flap (3 times before tiring out), glide, peck, and slide to defeat enemies. Super Clover World is partially inspired by Bumper's Quest, a 2D platformer that Tokinsom and a few friends of his were working on in Construct 2 back in 2011.

  • For me, I'd usually find some tutorials on either Construct 2 or Construct 3, but didn't really get any devlogs or shorts, and I think the only showcase I've seen was from Scirra's official YouTube channel. But nevertheless, if you're trying to showcase a project of yours you made in Construct, go for it. It's still your game, no matter what engine you made in it.

For the high-quality side of things, I've seen showcases for games such as Mighty Goose, Guinea Pig Parkour, and Paintvale. And still, both Construct and YouTube can be worth your time depending on how you're planning to tackle both subjects.
