so i'm making a point and click game like riddle school, and im trying to make a drag and drop inventory where if you drag an inventory object onto a certain object and release the mouse button it activates a special action (like dragging a key onto a door and in return unlocking the door.) and if you drag an item onto another item it combines them in some sorts. (like if you were to drag a blade in your inventory onto a stick in your inventory to make a spear.) i really need some help cuz i'm really confused so any help would be appreciated.
so i'm making a platform game, and i want to make a button where if it is stomped on by the player, it gets triggered, but if just ran into,it does not trigger the button and just stops the player. is there any way to do this. I tried to find an example and this is the best i could really find

i'm using physics or my falling spikes, and i got them to fall, but now when you die, the spikes don't reset, and there are no more spikes, or they reset at weird angle, and don't fall right.
so i'm making a game similar to trap adventure and i'm trying to make it so that spikes fall from the ceiling and sink into the ground, but i cant seem to know how to make it sink. please help me fix this problem in my game!
