  This kind of feature is difficult to support since it requires fetching pixel data from the GPU, which typically stalls the rendering pipeline and results in awful performance. So because of that if at all possible you should not even try to do this, and look for an alternative solution. For example perhaps there could be some way to use an existing sprite with a collision polygon that can be used to test collisions instead?

  tl;dr - in browsers orientation lock only takes effect in fullscreen mode, and you can only enter fullscreen mode in a user input trigger.

  Make sure you're using the latest release which includes bug fixes for audio, particularly on iOS 9.

  I can't really help from the information you've provided. If you think something is wrong with C2, please file a bug report following all the guidelines. I've seen previously that your site had the wrong MIME types set up, and note that can also cause audio to fail to play in some circumstances.

  Game data goes peer-to-peer so the performance of the Scirra server has no impact on the gameplay performance. There is nothing special about physics; as with any multiplayer game, only the host is really running the movement, and the peers are just seeing and controlling virtual versions of themselves (typically with all their actual movements disabled, so they don't conflict with the multiplayer engine's control of the object). You're probably doing something wrong, like leaving the behaviors enabled for the peers. Multiplayer is hard.

  Integrating these engines is a huge amount of work and unless there's any concrete improvements then I don't see a reason to try. Both are based on the Chromium browser engine, so I don't see any reason Electron would be any better or worse.

  The bug was in Chrome. NW.js is based on an older version of Chrome.

  nimos100 - no, the bug is in the Chrome browser engine not our code, so the only fix is to update. A new NW.js version should be along soon.

  Some devices only support a max texture size of 2048 (e.g. 1st gen Nexus 7). On those devices, the image will fail to display. That's why the editor recommends a maximum image size of 2048x2048.

  Your server is returning 404 not found for the offline.appcache file. Check the browser error console (ctrl+shift+J). It's probably not working at all. You probably need to set up your server MIME types.

  Wherever there's a choice, C2 uses UTF-8. JS itself stores strings in memory in UTF-16 IIRC, but this doesn't mean anything saved/loaded or sent/received over the network is the same. Ideally that should all be UTF-8 too, but I think it partly depends on server/browser configuration.
