  Just tried it here and it worked fine in node-webkit preview. Node-webkit is based on Chrome so it would make sense that they work the same.

  Just tried it and C2 exports a manifest.json file just fine here. It should always generate a manifest when you choose the Chrome Web Store option.

  Construct 2 should add these files if they are missing. If you press OK and save-as .capx, does that fix it?

  Another thing it looks like you're doing is moving the player down just before simulating a jump. Why would you do that? It means you're wedging the player into the floor, which will make the platform behavior think it's stuck, then simulating a jump. That would probably be why it doesn't work.

  I could possibly add a "pick objects in same cell" type condition so you can make similar kinds of efficiency gains in events as well. However it would only have an effect when it's the first condition - the blog post I made about the optimisation covers why.

  On a quad core system Windows will report 25% CPU usage when one of those four cores is running at 100% and the other four cores are idle. Even then the graphs of each core's activity is not always accurate in Windows either, seeming to show activity shared across cores for some reason. In this case the 97% estimated CPU usage in the C2 debugger means "basically all your CPU time is used up", and that measurement is based on a single thread (and therefore one CPU core).

  1. Not many browsers support orientation locking from web pages, but you can set this in project properties in the latest builds.

  2. The best way is to use the Browser object's 'Request fullscreen' action. Again not all browsers support this, but it's the most reliable and future proof way to do it.

  We already use 2-3 PNG tools to optimise the file size on export, but this is always done losslessly (unless you change the image formats in C2). I doubt OptiPNG could beat this losslessly. What kind of file size savings are you seeing and are you using settings that degrade quality (e.g. forcing 8-bit PNG)?

  Time to restore a backup (or you've just learned why to keep backups if you haven't got them enabled). As of the latest builds, C2 also makes autosaves which you should have in the same folder as the previous game that you can go back to.
