  • I would like to suggest, for example to create a website in Russian language. How do you think of this idea?

  • There is already a very good russian forum HERE.

  • i vote for Polish heh. All ive seen are datad, dead or sh*tty.

  • A forum in another language will work if you have skilled users in the software that can support the questions of the newcomers... else you will just redirect them here to find answers.

Not sure dividing a small community is a good idea, I am very unlikely to visit the russian forum and most of us will never see your work if you don't post it here... unless you do a monthly recap of what happens of your side or something like that.

  • It's a bad idea. I've seen a couple of that kind of forums, where you have one global subject and sub-forum for that subject in few different languages. They all have been english native forums, but there was much more post in other languages, so i coudn't find an answer for anything.

Can'r remember well, but there was something like 10 post in english - nothing important, and thousands post in german, russian and some others.

Every time when i asked something on english side, i've been answerd whit a link to a german post...witch was not in english.

    Anyway

Multilingual website - yes! - it will help scirra to get more pople who understand what they read.

    Multilingual forum - no!

I've asked Tom some time ago about integrating Google Translate into the forum - answer "I have considered it, and will look into it"

  • I not offer to create a multilingual forum <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • that's good to know :D

and btw, that russian forum have many nice examples...but there is something wrong with letter, they look wrong ;P

  • What about Russian version of the website <img src="smileys/smiley23.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • We understand there is some demand for other languages for the site, but at this stage it would involve far too much work for too little payoff. It's something we will consider in the future though.
