Are there any games in the arcade that I can play on my iPad? Most of the games I tried to play with my iPad require a keyboard. I do have a Bluetooth keyboard for it, but apparently it doesn't respond the same way.
If anyone can direct me to one or two games that are playable on the iPad, I'd appreciate it.
My game "Drop Da Piew" is built with touch controls, but I never tested it on mobiles, and it should be pretty slow I guess.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Thanks, Kyatric! The controls respond, but unfortunately it lags badly on the new iPad. Is that typical for all C2 HTML5 games played on the iPad?
I wish I could have played your game more. It has a great rating, so I know I must be missing out.
No, what I have noticed is that when the game is played online over the web there are some lag issues. But when the game is completely installed using PhoneGap on the iPad there are little to no lag issues.
I think the amount of lag depends on what you're doing in the game. I have a game that works at 60 fps with no lag on my ipad 3, but I'm using every optimization I can think of (no physics, no rotated sprites, etc).
Check my game SBTB:The Eraser, the game runs pretty good for a physics game, its totally playable. The Eraser
I was pleasantly surprised how well my game worked on the iPad from the Scirra arcade. My "preview over lan" tests were not great. Thinking I'd have to do a ton more optimizing, tried playing it on the iPad on a whim. Worked good! ( though there is a delay in when the music starts to play as apposed to playing it on a desktop browser)
