Construct purchase page insists I pay in Swiss francs

Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • I am attempting to purchase a Construct annual license through my account, but every time I hit the buy button I get an error stating my currency selection is wrong and I need to change it to Swiss francs in order to proceed. (see included image)

    I am based in the UK, I have done an IP check and it confirms my browser knows it is in the UK. I have tried multiple browsers, I have turned off all security and tracking protection, and I have even tried turning on my VPN and setting it to a UK server but nothing works.

    The address I have stored on my account is also my UK address.

    Any ideas why this is happening?

  • I have now resolved the problem!

    For some reason when the checkout page loaded it was automatically setting the billing address country to Switzerland. This then triggered the automatica currency change and error.

    The fix was simply changing the country to UK and the currency automatically changes to be correct.

    I still don't understand why this happened seeing as my location is the UK, but I'm just glad I managed to figure out the issue!
