I've download the newest version of construct 2.
And figure a new behavior.
is this a new behavior?.
Definitely looks like you've got a 3rd party plugin in there.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
no, it's not a plugin, It's a behavior..
have u install the newest Construct 2?.
the multiplayer behavior is already there.
please, give it a try..
Nope. I checked in the steam version and the one from this website and it's not in either.
I'm not talking about the steam version.
I'm talking about this..
The latest version is beta r142.
And this behavior is definitely a 3rd part behavior that left from your previous install.
Just go and check in the folder where you installed C2\exporters\html5\behaviors I guess it should be in the folder "multiplayer" and if you edit "edittime.js" in a notepad, look at the line "author" it's probably not "Scirra", which means it is third part.
Still hoping Construct 2 have capabilities to make multiplayer games.
Especially for Real-Time Multiplayer.
+1 for real-time multiplayer. Current solutions aren't ideal for real-time.
I don't understand what u meant?
There are various ways to use multi player functionality in Construct 2. They work pretty well for the most part, Socket.I.O and Ajax,
pretty much this section but they aren't perfect solutions for real-time
But those tutorials doesn't work for Platformer object, right?
what I want to make is Multiplayer Games with Join Room System.
I've read those tutorial, but still doesn't give me any lead.
I think I need more examples, especially for Platformer Object..
a simple ones would be nice.. If u don't mind?
Unfortunately there is no simple solution to what you want.
You will have to create the back end stuff. (not going to lie to you, this is a lot of work) I don't think C2 could even do something like that by itself. You are going to have to code the whole games room system and plug your game into it.
But now I move to CO-OP Multiplayer Game Project using Twin USB Joystick,
Do you have any lead??
Sorry don't know about joystick. I am designing with air mouse with smart tv's and multiple players/multiple households.
