Latest update complete with hideous splash screen - free version

It's good that Construct has just got an awesome new update. I like 'Construct' for its intuitive and quick visual scripting, makes creating a game more fun and less about getting syntax right and typing code.

But the new splash screen, wow! Does it have to be that huge and in your face. Couldn't it be a bit more subtle. Just makes me want to go back to Godot.

What new splash screen? I don't recall anything relating to splash screens being changed in the past release.

Could be just me, or something I've done. But was using the previous free version before the latest release came out which automatically updated on my pc. And now every time I go to run my project the 'Construct' splash screen loads as it goes into running the game. I'm sure there was no 'Construct' splash screen loading before. I recently setup 'Construct" as an app on my pc instead of working in the browser, would this have changed things? As there a way to disable this. Feels like I'm getting subliminal advertising. It must be working as I love your product and intend to buy a subscription very shortly. I also like the 2 hour reminder to get up and have a break

which I know can be switched off, but it's funny when you see it 3 or more times and start to realize how many hours you have been sitting on your **** without a break.

Looks like the first half of 'butter' is banned and deemed profanity, lol.

If I run Construct as a guest, create an empty project, and preview it, no splash screen appears. We specifically designed it to skip the splash screen during preview in the editor as it would be annoying to show it every time, and we haven't changed this for years. I have no idea why it would suddenly start showing up for you - perhaps it's a bug which we'd need a issue filed following all the guidelines to be able to investigate, or perhaps you have some browser extension installed that is interfering with Construct (a common cause of mysterious problems nobody else seems to have).

The ugly splash screen mysteriously disappeared after a while, which was good. But now, after the latest release, has returned once again. So I don't know.

Will be shortly going to subscribe and get paid version which I understand gives you control over the splash screen, so no worries.

Just wanted to point out that I'm logged in to the website when using the Construct 3 app on my pc.
