I discovered Construct a couple days ago and have been reading scidave's tutorial(Mikey's Adventure).
I first got into games when I was a tween with my older cousins, and since then never stopped. My first game was Robopon for the Game Boy Color and then came along a little N64 with Hey! You Pikachu.
I've been studying computer languages for two years now hoping to design games, but was getting disenchanted with the whole idea of doing it myself. Then I found this great program and now I am re-inspired!
I just recently turned 19 in June and together with my current employer and local pastor, we are helping poverty-stricken youths recover and make something of themselves. We help people who wish to get out of gangs and those who need jobs as well. So far, we've gotten 2 dozen people and have done gotten people back in school, help some get into the Navy and even got one a new car!
Now with Construct and what I learned from programming, I wish to teach these youths game design so they can finally express themselves in a nonviolent manner. Don't stop Scirra devs--ever! You are doing great!
