Edit: Oh wow mine is at 0 again! It's either the Arcade (which I visited for sure today), or perhaps maybe the concept of logging on in multiple locations maybe? (I have 2 browsers I login to Scirra with, and a phone browser, and others)

Edit: Tom can you also look in to why the consecutive streaks ended?

My consecutive streak was reset once on a day when an update was released and Scirra had gone down (or I assume it went down, I couldn't get to it for a while.)

My streak too got reset. I didn't go to the arcade, but I am pretty sure it was less than 20 hours between my logins.
