Hi Guys, I had a look at distributing an android app with InMobi App Distribute today and did a blog post on my findings. The app is a live wallpaper but the service should be fine for Constuct games packaged as Android apps just the same. I've got a few Construct projects on the go but finding it had to get motivated without getting it out to users to try. InMobi App Publish looks like it has great potential!
Please give me a shout if anyone this this is useful as a Construct community tutorial. I've found them a great resource over the past year. <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle">
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
It seems a good way to reach all your applications to different markets.
It would be nice to know something more concrete and its proper functioning as well as the potential benefit that can be drawn from our applications.
I mind it really frustrating uploading game assets to several different stores and then there is the nightmare of versioning between different market rules. Competition is healthy yes, but not so great for Indie developers as there is so little revenue to be made (on average) in any one marketplace.
Yea, I admit - I should have developed for iPhone :oophs
I'll update that article in a month or so and compare it to existing markets I've tried.
