  • 16:9 seems really weird for phones, no? For my app I used 1920x1080 and it worked fine and all phones I think. Back then with CocoonJS Letterbox Scale worked, right? This is also interesting: https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/998/sc ... for-mobile

    Hi,

1920x1080 is a 16:9 screen ratio, so it should fit on most devices as well. However for tablest I personally recommend you to use a 16:10 screen ratio (1920x1200). Moreover it's not needed to built your mobile games in full hd, hd is sufficient. But this is up to you <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink">

Yes CocoonJS did support Letterbox scale, but CocoonIO doesn't.

    Thank you for your feedback!

It's the best to be prepared for it If you use Google Analytics, you can see how many people do play your game with a tablet.

  • When I set the layout size to 1920x1200 and center the game content, will it still be centered for non-tablets (1920x1080, etc)?

I recommend the user 1920x1200 because he has built his game in 1920x1080. But generally 1280x800 is sufficient.
