  • Yo.

I don't have tons of money but I can pay people ok for some smaller new plugins, especially ones that access apis.

(example google + info access plugin)

If you're good and write these things fast you can maybe make a couple hundo quick.

Gimmie your quotes either here on the forum or PM, and i'll let you know if i'm interested either now or later.

    Much love.

    Ben

  • I started to post some openings on Odesk to hire plugin dev also, but I'm just testing the waters and figured there might be people able to get the job done much more easily here due to experience.

  • Which all APIs you want to access, I might give some idea if you tell more.

  • Definitely the google APIs.

I'm looking into creating plugins relating to managing files or photos with those, and their login system.

Also I might be interested in overall commissioning some plugins and revising them to a really professional level for sales in bundles.

But this is a much more long term goal, as i'm working on various assets that would go together well with plugins, etc. I'm very interested in business marketing and branding. It's not just my hobby to be working on these plugins.

  • For example, Google+ login and ability to both upload photos to that account, then retrieve them would be one I'm very interested in having.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Question, why not use the AJAX plugin with http request (GET and POST) as far as i have seen all api functions from google uses these requests anyway so i cant really see why you need an entire plugin to do the same thing. (Looked at the google + api)

    https://developers.google.com/+/api/

  • I prefer to have a plugin even if it is redundant just to keep the workflow very straightforward and also I have very little experience with AJAX, but that's definitely something to look into.

  • Using AJAX (For api's that accept POST and GET) should be pretty straight forward, if you would like me to i could make a fast example

  • kentbakk Actually i would also be interested in a fast example of the AJAX plugin. It would be a great contribution to the community if you can do this.

  • Okay il throw something together for you

  • Okay just got home and finished a really fast example of AJAX POST request with an API

You can download it at http://kentbakkoffers.com/API/API%20example.capx

The API is a self coded one for writing variables to an external database, closer info is in the capx

Feel free to ask me if you have any questions <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">
