Mobile app in Construct 2 (Paid)

  • Hey guys,

    I need a C2 developer to create a small mobile app in Construct 2. The app should work on Android and iOs (via CocoonJS and Direct Canvas)

    Special features:

    * ability to store and maintain (add/edit/delete) a list of texts

    * ability to read RSS feed (e.g. from a Wordpress blog), show a title, and open the browser going to the blog post when the user clicks the title

    * ability to push notifications

    * other simpler requirements.

    Developer must have oDesk profile (free to create) and accept payment through oDesk. Please give me a quote, I am not sure what my budget is, I'll decide after I see the quotes (if anybody applies :D ).

    You can ask and give quotes here on the forum as well, but I prefer that you apply on oDesk.

    More details / app spec / requirements on the job (I believe you need to log in):

    If you have any more questions please ask away :)

    Cheers!

  • If you're willing to pay, maybe it would be better to look for alternatives instead of C2? I don't think you can have push notifications using CocoonJS or Appmobi, but I'm not sure.

    Why exactly must your project be done on C2?

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Hey andreyin, thanks for your reply.

    I want it done in C2 because I love it and I think it's the best thing since sliced bread <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> I admit I've been busy with other things lately and am not up to date with the features anymore.

    I am still hoping it can do push notifications, you say "I don't think" so there is hope :).

    I will ask about it in another forum, as it seems that searching doesn't show anything relevant. Perhaps there is a way though?

    Thanks!

  • You'd have to ask the makers of CocoonJS or AppMobi, I think!

  • There are Push Notifications with CocoonJS, however, it isn't implemented as a plug and play feature Construct 2 as of yet. But I think with some knowledge of javascript you can implement it yourself.
