Very cool 2D side scroller tile map, looks great on tablets and mobile games.
  • Hi All

I'm brand new to construct 2, with no background in programming of any kind. I've completed several tutorials, and feel that I have a basic understanding of how construct works.

I have a specific game in mind that I would like to work towards developing a prototype to test for proof of concept. With my current work schedule, I only have about 2-3 hours/night to devote to learning.

To be clear, I'm not looking for someone to help me build my game. I want to find an instructor that will help me understand the concepts so I can build it myself.

Ideally we would meet for an hour 2-3 times per week, for at least the next 4 weeks. I generally work until 6pm Mon-Fri, so you would have to be available after then. For payment, I would prefer to set this up through Odesk.com, just to make things easy. If any of you live in San Francisco and we could meet in person, all the better!

Please PM me if you are interested with your experience and examples of your work.

    Thanks!

    Ryan

  • Anyone? I can pay up to $25 per hour long session.

  • Although not based on Construct 2, you might be able to find a starting place from my book on Construct Classic: Construct Game Development: Beginner's Guide.

Construct 2 has a very similar interface, so it's fairly easy to switch between them.

Otherwise, I do have an Odesk account so I might be able to help out there too <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">
