Hello readers,
I have recently been anticipating the upcoming Ludum Dare (36) and was wondering about Construct 2 game jams;the last Construct 2 game jam I have been able to find took place in May last year! There are many game jams on the Internet to suit the needs of everyone (check out kyatric's last post on Game development and Ideas). However I feel that it would be great to see a game jam just for Construct 2. There is such an active community and I think that lots other users would love to see it too as they are such great fun to take part in. Many people (myself included) don't have the time to make games full time and game jams provide a great opportunity to get to commit to their development and have some fun.
The jam wouldn't need to have prizes or even a judgement scheme but would just be something to bring the community together by having a theme that would challenge both the users creativity and knowledge of the engine.
Please leave a comment below if you think this is a good idea or if you have any suggestions about how this could work as it will help the idea gain attention.
