[Plugins] Pode HTML Pack

  • Hi guys,

    I've made a fan-website for the indie game Project zomboid with Construct 2 latest stable version (I know, construct 2 is not for this purpose, but i did this website in about 3 hours)

    I wanted a scrollbar so i've made it with "fullscreen in browser" off, and i put a video on the first page (with the video plugin and next, with the HTMLdiv plugin)

    But when exported, when there is the video on the screen, the scrollbar is 2 time too long. And when i go somewhere else, the scrollbar return to normal. It's work perfectly when it's in preview mode.

    My project was made in 2 pages (one french and one english) it's only a matter of visibility/invisibility for the differents rubrics

    Project zomboid website

    It's maybe a bit long to load... but hey, we can make website with construct 2 !

    ps: I made the video.

  • Pode: i don't want to put my game in a website. i have to put an html code inside my game. part of the game shold be an extern image. understand?

  • Brilliant however is there a way for this to work on v100 when exported to an exe

  • what's brillant?

  • the plugin

  • Will this awesome plugin pack be updated? Perhaps I was relying too much on the div plugin, and with r100 it got unusable (doesn't work when exporting project).

  • Sithdown : I didn't checked it yet againt r100. I'm going to do it as soon as I can.

    Ashley : the Iframe plugin doesn't work when exporting to *.exe. Since I can't trace the native code, I don't know where the problem is. Is there a debug mode when exporting exes, to let plugin dev what to do to make it works ?

  • Any chance you might consider putting this up on say github? would make getting updates, etc easier.

  • :

    i have to put in my game an iframe wiht this code...

    <html>

    <body>

    <iframe id="nnnnnnnn" name="nnnnn" src="a site address" frameBorder="0" frameSpacing="0" scrolling="no" width="728" height="90"><a href="a site address" ><img src="a site address" border="0" alt=""></a></iframe>

    </body>

    </html>

    what i have to do?

    thanks a lot

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Add the PODE DIV to the layout and just put that in inner html -

    <iframe id="nnnnnnnn" name="nnnnn" src="a site address" frameBorder="0" frameSpacing="0" scrolling="no" width="728" height="90"><a href="a site address" ><img src="a site address" border="0" alt=""></a></iframe>

  • The div plugin is great (is the only one i have used yet).

    Anyone has an idea if this can work with the letterbox scale option?

    I have tried to use fontsize in % but no, the div is not scaled.

    Thank you very much

  • seskadog: so i have to try to put the code inside html div after the game start. i was trying to put the code at design time. i think i have to put at design time and not in local mode. is it true?

    thank you all

  • <img src="http://s15.postimage.org/3kqgjzvd7/path.jpg" border="0" />

    url code in "data.bin" and file (indexx.html) is outside "data.bin"

    any solution?

    thanks..

  • Sithdown : to load an HTML file inside the iframe plugin, and have it exported to .exe, you need to add that file inside the "Files" section of the project, under "Music".

  • Ashley : with what tool are you bin packing the files ? I can propose a quick bat to include outside files inside exported .bin file, to add files necessary for the Iframe plugin.
