This forum is currently in read-only mode.
  • This is an example cap I made showing how to do a hopping effect.Just press cancel if it asks for sounds.Made with Construct v1.2.The sprites are from game makers companion and it's copyrighted,I only used this as an example.I will upload a better cap as soon as i can find those sound files i lost. Its a big cap 4.41 megs in size because of the animations etc...

Note: You need RojoHounds Path Movement plugin.

  • hmmm. If the gfx are copyrighted, then it may be prudent to remove them (make your own rough ones?). You wouldn't want anyone - especially this forum - to get into trouble because of it, I'm sure

BTW you've shown just how powerful Construct is here over GM. Nice example.

  • Hehehe thts why i did it.Anyway lots of people create sonic and mario clones. As long as i dont say its my own work then i dont see that there will be any trouble. It's sort of like a comparison to show how easy it is to create the same game with far less event's than with the other app.

  • Why didn't you just add those other examples in here?

  • I'm sorry to tell you this, but most of the time I have no clue what your examples are about. I think that, if you want more people to look at your examples, some screenshots would help a lot.
