The main features of the "game" would have involved moving through a grocery store in first person to choose the right types of food to place in one's basket, and being able to do the faked 3D would make Construct a no-brainer choice for this project.
Actually no, 3d is not what construct is meant for, nor is it easy to do in it. You're much better off with a free 3d engine for a 3d game, check out unity, it's much more suited for a first person game.
Depending on the simplicity of your game, a mod derived from David's wolf engine might work. Any additions to the 3d features would require a hell of a lot more work though. Anyway, if you want to use this engine, make your game 98.9, it's a lot more stable too.
