uses Pixel shader 2.0
A "small" sample of a menu im working on , i will probably change it cause there were some problems with bumpmap intensity\x\y\z and a lot of small bugs causing trouble
Anyway just tell me if it slow down dramatically
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
That is a really amazing combination of bumpmapping and 3d box.
By the way, it didn't slow down on my laptop's builtin crappy GPU.
This is one of the best demos I've seen so far! Excellent job! Any tips on how you achieved the effect?
Sure but its hard to explain everything (if you lack in eng)
so here is the .cap
p.s. im messy in conditions ^^ so don't mind them
Oh and one more thing : dunno if these are bugs but i have some question to them
1 . http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/2782/1zhv0.jpg
I wanted to make zoom(variable) := zoom +1 but it doesnt work
2 . http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/3003/2zsx2.jpg
one difference betwen the conditions are x -> y but the second one displays a picture
how can i choose the name of the variables to compare them ?
when i change one of the x/y/z/intensity it makes them bold but not saving the value
Im going check this out tonight!
I borrowed a friends computer to get ps2.0 and i have3 to say: Wow! That's really great!
It had a very bad slowdown on his computer though, but it's a bad computer.
Ok i've done the second version menu its 90% finished , just need to add 2 more buttons and some sound to them. (hope the music works )
When operating on 3d boxes construct got an error every 5 min ;P
and i still cant make fullscreen in the menu (it throws a bug)
Here is the Menu file (enjoy ^^ )
Also uses pixel shader 2.0
P.S. I found out when you are exporting a game and have music files paths -> "finame.mp3" the main directory for the music files will be the *.cap directory and not the one of the *.exe
0_0 WOW, that was amazing, how did you make the 3d looking spaceship???
^ It's all 3D Boxes with some sides transparent.
Looks nice. Only tip would be to slow the stars WAY down, and move them behind the planet ... it looks like snow. Keep in mind how large a star is
Unless you were going for that snowy look, then more power to you.
That is freakin cool. So cool, in fact, I will now go change my pants.
Thx Jeswen , yeah you are right i will place the stars behind the planet
Oh and my friend told me she has got no music playing , could you tell me if it plays by you?
I heard music I think, but it was very quiet so it wasnt distinct until I raised my speaker volume to its highest, and since my speakers are powered seperatly than the computer they can get pretty loud.
These menus are TOTALLY AWESOME!
aww, they've all been deleted.
I will add some more files in a couple of days ^^
