Hi, I'm creating a wall jump that varies how far and high the player jumps depending on how long the jump button is held down.
I'm currently using platform behavior.
Can I please have assistance with this problem?

Can I please have some help with this problem. <img src="smileys/smiley39.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
My logic with the placing of the private variables and use of time is off.
Hi TunaUppercut, I've tried my hand at fixing what you have and working with the same variable system I came up with this: Wall Jump Fix Attempt
Thanks for the help Jayjay. But is there a way to make the wall jump height and distance controlled, instead of increasing over time. For example the player presses the jump button quickly and only wall jumps a short distance. But if the player holds the jump button the player will wall jump a long distance.
Might be TunaUppercut, I'll be out of free time this weekend but maybe next week I can get you an example for that.
Okay, thanks again for the help Jayjay.
Hi TunaUppercut, I've given it a try with a blank cap. If you need me to explain any parts I will re-upload with comments as well as say it here.
I think you'll like this method of Wall Jumping
Thanks so much for the assistance Jayjay.
No problem TunaUppercut, glad to help! =]
