So im making a game, each layout has a height of 1000 and width of 640. When I make my HUD layer and set the Scroll rate to zero on both X and Y the layer doesn't appear when the game runs.
However if I set the scroll X to zero and the scroll Y to 100% the layer appears but does not scroll, this doesn't work vice versa (Scroll Y to zero, Scroll X to 100). Im stumped. Could anybody help?
Make sure that when your layer has a 0% scrollrate your object's coordinates are on the top left of the layout. Since it's obvious that the screenspace they'll use will be the size of the screen located at the top left of the layout nothing outside that will appear. That's all there is to it.
