Someone have similar issue?
Having CC open in background and hitting preview (or running exported exe of any game made in CC) it freezes CC for at least 15-20 seconds.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
One possibility I've seen is anti-virus software scanning the temp.exe. I put in a bypass or Kaspersky would do the same to me.
did not help. I've added
to bypass in Avast, but it still freezes CC :/
If you're feeling confident, disable Avast totally (maybe disconnect your internet temporarily) and if it still freezes, at least you've totally eliminated that as a possibility.
Did that too as well. still the same
Is this a recent thing or has it always happened?
Does it happen with earlier examples (maybe one of the demos from here)?
Is it games with a lot of gfx/sounds to pre-load?
Can you post any .cap for us to try?
We discussed about it on Russian site too. Most people have same issue
Not sure when it started, never used fullscreen before heh, but it happens in every project - doesn't matter if it's only one text object or loads of gfx/sounds - even made it freeze using blank new project with
+ MouseKeyboard: On any key pressed
-> System: Switch to Fullscreen mode
but there's nothing in here, just one event :)
I've just added the same to one of my caps and it's fine, as is yours.
I wonder if it's another gfx card issue. What card have you got? Mine is a 1GB Nvidia 9800GT.
Here's your cap tweaked a little, that works fine on my PC. Does it still freeze on yours?
SPACE to go fullscreen, ESC to go windowed.
yes, still freezing:/
i have GTX570
I've just done a search, and there is definitiely an issue with GTX cards. It doesn't look like anyone ever found a resolution to the problems either :(
right. no worries, i'v used to close CC before playiing with fullscreen <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
